With production facilities in the UK, Portugal, Canada and Brazil, a global network of international partners and a strong track record in producing branded transmedia content, beActive is one of the few companies that are able to implement a global branded content campaign with localized productions for each territory.

beActive created and produced the world’s first cross-media soap opera, Sofia’s Diary, a series distributed simultaneously on the Internet, Mobile Phones, Television, Magazines, Radio and printed media. Localized in over 10 territories around the world, this teenage soap opera is fully financed and supported by advertisers, including Sure Girl, Pearl Drops, Goldigga, Transport for London, Nair and Universal.

Three years ago, beActive also launched Flatmates, a cross-media comedy series that attracted worldwide brands such as Ford, Pringles, Nivea, Harmony, Nestlé, and Shockwaves among others. After a second season in Portugal, the series has already been localized in Greece and Romania.

In Latin America, beActive has been developing digital branded entertainment experiences for Unilever using a local version of Sofia’s Diary and Mobile Games. In 2009, the company developed the successful digital series Final Punishment branded for the OI Telecom Company.
